What was the highlight of Mercure Santos Hotel
Rooms need renovation
I liked the location and their beach service where they already had chairs and umbrellas in the beach for guests. Also their towel service at the front desk.
The pool was under renovation and also the rooms and bathrooms needed renovation. You could see mold forming on in the bathroom floor. The sofa also seemed very dirty. The rooms really need renovating.

Pretty average! Not impressed. Expect better quality for a hotel located on the beach.
The beach tent.
The pool was closed for maintenance. You could have mentioned this a time of booking. Toilet was broken. No milk in Fridge, air con was not working probably. No wine glasses, no room service menu and had to pay a room service fee for a delivery of a bucket of ice as well when you collect the ice bucket directly from the restaurant. English speaking employees were limited in numbers. Also, the location of the beach tent was inaccurate as per the written communication in the lift. No coffee available for early check out! Perhaps a coffee cart.

It was all ok.
It was all ok. Practical, etc. Also the breakfast was good, except (see below) ...
A Brazilian habit maybe: at the breakfast table there was no salad, tomato slices neither cucumber. In some other countries you find these at the breakfast table. They are nice on your toasted bread, on the cheese, ham, or whatever. Nowadays, the global health trend "almost requires" these items.

Almost 1 hour to do the check-in. Breaksfast missing some items. Installations quality below the expected one for a Mercury. Although previously requestes, the baby crib wasn’t prepared when we arrived.
